The following analysis text is produced by a software. The software is a test version and the rulebase at this stage is still quite limited.

In 2025 Switzerland did rise to be Finland's 14. biggest foreign trade partner. The value of trade between the countries increased by 25.4 per cent from the previous year, thus in 2025 amounting to EUR 2.9 billion. Value added in trade is due to a strong increase in exports.The trade surplus in 2025 was worth EUR 1.5 billion.

In 2025, Finland's exports to Switzerland rose during the period (2002-2025), the highest value, worth at EUR 2.2 billion Euro. The largest product groups of exports were gold,non-monetary (Sitc 971), which represented 81.5 per cent of the total exports, ores and concentrates of precious metals; waste, scrap and sweepings of precious metals (other than of gold) (Sitc 289) 2.4 % and electric power machinery (other than rotating electric plant of group 716) and parts thereof (Sitc 771) 0.9 % of the export. For significant product groups, only in the gold,non-monetary (Sitc 971) the value of exports increased, with growth of 59.5 percent.

Imports from Switzerland in 2025, I was almost at the previous year's level in value of EUR 682 million Euro. The largest product groups in imports from Switzerland were medicinal and pharmaceutical products, other than medicaments of group 542 (Sitc 541), which represented a share of 16.3 per cent of imports, medicaments (including veterinary medicaments) (Sitc 542) 11.7 % and electrical apparatus for switching or protecting electrical circuits or for making connections to or in electrical circuits (e.g., switches, relays, fuses, lightning arresters, voltage limiters, surge suppressors, plugs and sockets, lamp-holders and (Sitc 772) 4.6 % of imports. The value of imports in major product groups fell only in the group medicaments (including veterinary medicaments) (Sitc 542), a decrease of 15.9 per cent of the 2024 value.
