The value of imports from Estonia decreased by 0.5 per cent compared to in February of the previous year, thus amounting to $65 million in February 2024. Major product categories of imports from Estonia were Sitc874 (measuring, checking, analysing and controlling instruments and apparatus, n.e.s.), representing 19.3 percent of imports, Sitc764 (telecommunications equipment, n.e.s., and parts, n.e.s., and accessories of apparatus falling within division 76) 16.3 % and Sitc821 (furniture and parts thereof; bedding, mattresses, mattress supports, cushions and similar stuffed furnishings) 6.2 % of the imports.
The value of exports to Estonia were 12.6 percent higher than in February of the previous year, thus amounting to $30 million. The largest product groups of exports were: Sitc776 (thermionic, cold cathode or photo-cathode valves and tubes (e.g., vacuum or vapour or gas-filled valves and tubes, mercury arc rectifying valves and tubes, cathode-ray tubes, television camera tubes); diodes, transistors and similar semiconductor dev), which represented a share of 12.0 per cent of total exports, Sitc871 (optical instruments and apparatus, n.e.s.) 9.9 % and Sitc874 (measuring, checking, analysing and controlling instruments and apparatus, n.e.s.) 8.2 % of the exports.
